The Architecture

Inspired by the signature work of Claude Monet, Au Bord de l'Eau uses raw olfactive materials as if they were paint pigments. Contours are suggested, not defined, in the watery waves. Like Monet's masterpiece, we alternate between the realism of the zest of bergamot and lemon - its freshness is mixed with the petals of the bitter orange - and the more complex texture nestled below. The mist of sparkling citrus rests on the green and woody undertones of rosemary, violet, and soft musk. A cologne painted in pointillism.
